  • The ruins of the Crèvecœur keep. Panoramic view of the Meuse and the citadel and collegiate church of Dinant. Free self-guided tour. Accessible on foot from the Meez farm. Legend has it that after a heroic resistance, the Three Ladies of Crèvecœur threw themselves from the top of the tower, preferring death to capture.
  • Overlooking the Meuse Valley, the Dinant Citadel immerses you in history. Throughout your visit, you will find objects and educational panels retracing the city’s glorious past. A cable car takes you there.
  • Standing proudly on a rocky outcrop in the wild, the ruins of the Montaigle fortified castle seem to come straight out of a legendary Middle Ages. During the Romantic era, many artists and poets praised the ruin’s desolate and solitary character. Traveling and melancholic souls have described the wild charm of the Montaigle valley.
  • The Poilvache Fortress is the largest medieval fortified complex in the Meuse Valley. The ruins and surrounding grounds have been recognized as « Major Heritage of Wallonia. » You can also admire an impressive panorama of the Meuse.
  • To visit: the Château de Freÿr and its Gardens.
    The castle on the banks of the Meuse, the Renaissance-style gardens with their ponds and orange trees. Opposite, on the other bank, are the Freÿr rocks, which form a large rocky massif popular with mountaineers.
  • The Furfooz Nature Reserve, located in the Lesse Valley, invites you to take a 4km walk and discover magnificent landscapes (viewpoints over the Lesse Valley, woods, caves, caverns, river, ruins).
  • The Domaine de Chevetogne is a vast public park 550 ha. It features magnificent playgrounds, numerous landscaped gardens, sports and water activities, museums, picnic and relaxation areas, and a tourist train.
  • Dinant la Merveilleuse Cave. The finesse and whiteness of its stalactites and waterfalls rank it among the most beautiful caves in Europe.

  • Dinant Evasion organizes numerous activities: kayaking down the Lesse, thrilling adventure courses, cruises on the Meuse, license-free boats, visits to remarkable sites, caving, etc.
  • River cruises with commentary by a specialized guide. Rides along the water by riverboat or electric boat, no license required, to pilot yourself. An exceptional setting is revealed, between landscapes shaped by nature and monuments erected by man.
  • Need riding lessons? Fancy horseback riding? The Château de Meez equestrian center is 1 km away.
  • The surroundings are well suited to walking, cycling, and mountain biking. Many routes are signposted. The RAVeL de Meuse and the RAVeL L150 de La Molignée pass nearby.
  • Draisines allow you to discover the picturesque Molignée Valley by pedaling at your own pace on an old railway line. There are 3 routes to choose from: 8 km, 6 km or 14 km.
  • The Royal Golf Club du Château d’Ardenne in Houyet and the Rougemont-Golf de Namur in Profondeville are the closest golf clubs.
  • La Maison de Monsieur Sax is the interpretation center for the life and work of Adolphe Sax, the brilliant inventor of the saxophone. Here you can discover this extraordinary genius, his musical contributions, his astonishing inventions, and his rich and eventful life. An original scenography and sonic evocations reveal the fabulous destiny of the saxophone.
  • The Maison de la Pataphonie is an imaginary land where everything is music. It’s a space of sound escape to discover the song of aquatic flutes, the melody of the jantophone, the Zygzaboule, the patatropical jungle, the aqualubic river, the Grand Echantilloneur, and the Mur du Son.
  • Orchards and apiaries of the Mosan region: artisanal production of beehive and orchard products. Discover the fascinating world of bees in complete safety. Visit the farm, which operates on the principle of integrated production. We respect the natural balance of the orchard. And in a preserved ecosystem, the tree flourishes fully.
  • La Maison Leffe: abbey beer. Interactive tour, tasting.

    La Brasserie du Bocq is a family business with over a century and a half of tradition, quality, and expertise. The guided tour reveals its production techniques and ends with a tasting.

    The Caracole brewery produces a craft beer, still brewed the traditional way, in old copper vats heated over a wood fire. The tour presents the history of the site, the raw materials, and the brewing process, and culminates in a tasting of four different beers.
